Hello,

I've a problem with the passed over value for the "Show Login Message" after an user registration. My form sends a welcome and an activation letter, but as value for the "Show Login Message" only "info=REG" is passed over and not "REG_ACTIVATE". And so only "Your account was created." is shown as 'Show Login Message# on the login page and not "Your account was created. Check your e-mail for details on activating your account.".

I found the related tNG code in tNG_defTrigg.inc.php between line 312 and 345, but there are too many if's and else to get an overview.

Does somebody else have the same problem?

Hello Andreas

I took a look at the file you correctly pointed to be the source of your problem. And the code tells to me this: if the value of the activation field is set to 0 then REG_ACTIVATE. Maybe you have set an default value of something different from 0 in the user registration form for the activation field.
If you are sure that you haven't set a default value different from 0 please upload your registration form page so that we can take a look at the generated code so that we can see what seems to be wrong.

Hello Catalin,

...I see I was on the right way with my thinking, that it has to do something with "0" for the activation field. Yes, the activation filed is/was set to "0" as default...but in the table as default value and not as form transaction field.
I changed this by adding it as transaction field and now it's working.

Thx,
