Technote Details :: I want to disable stemming

When using a search page created with MX Site Search, stemming is performed on the results, thus matching morphological variants of the same word as well. I want to disable this feature.

MX Site Search performs automatic stemming on both full-text and normal indexing methods. For example, if you are searching site the engine will return also websites highlighting the site word within websites. This will allow finding more results, some which might be relevant as well.

There is no way of deciding on this behavior for the moment. Stemming cannot be disabled when searching from the user interface.
