Technote Details :: Remember Me feature does not work
Issue
I have created a user login page with the "Create Remember me" option checked. After logging in for the first time, and checking the remember me checkbox, when I access the login page once more, it does not automatically recognize me. Instead, the login form is shown once more, and I have to enter the credentials in order to be redirected to the index page.
Reason
This is the correct behavior in MX Kollection. The remember me option does not relate to the login page. Instead, it works when a user that already logged in tries to access a page that has the Restrict access to page server behavior. Since the login page is not protected (as it should be available to all users), the user cannot be automatically recognized and redirected to its default login successful page.
Solution
As this is not an issue, there is nothing you can do to correct this behavior. The remember me option will work when a user will try to open a page that has the Restrict Access to Page server behavior applied to it. He will be automatically recognized, and access will be granted.
