Technote Details :: Different versions of persistance issue

I get a message window saying "The current persistence version is not supported anymore and will be removed" in Dreamweaver. Then, I lose all the user interface persistence data and have to fill in everything again.

• Products: All InterAKT extensions that support interface persistence.

• Operating System: All.

• Server Models: All.

• Dreamweaver version: any.

This happens because you have recently upgraded one of your InterAKT products that supports user interface persistence. You are now working on an application created with the old version of the product. Because the new version has major changes from the old one, the user interface persistence data is removed. Otherwise, the generated code might have been error-prone or incorrect.

You cannot prevent this from happening. Interface persistence will still function. However, you will have to fill in all interface fields again the first time after upgrading the InterAKT product you own.
