Technote Details :: Compatibility with other InterAKT products

When working on a site that used MX Kollection 2  to ensure some functionality, and the MX Includes 3 to combine all created pages into a single main file, I get an error when trying to apply the Restrict Access To Page server behavior. The error message says: "Fatal error: Cannot redeclare kt_convertdate()". If applying different server behaviors from Kollection2, the function name differs.

• Products: MX Includes 3, MX Kollection 2.

• Operating System: All.

• Server Models: All.

• Dreamweaver version: any.

This happens because the new MX Includes 3 files use some of the file names that the MX Kollection2 used as well. Therefore, when trying to include files created with the MX Kollection 2 bundle with the help of MX Includes 3, a conflict between function names occurs.

At this time, there is no solution that will allow MX Includes 3 work with MX Kollection2. If needing to create pages with Server Side Includes and use files created with MX Kollection 2, you must use MX Includes 2.
