Technote Details :: I cannot login into the site although the account is valid
Issue
When attempting to login using the user registered credentials I cannot pass the login page, and I get a message saying:
The account was disabled temporarily (30 minutes) because you reached your maximum login attempt 5.
Note: The number of minutes and/or login attempts may vary, according to each particular configuration.
Reason
This happens because the site creator / administrator has restricted the number of maximum wrong login attempts that you can make. After the specified limit has been reached, the login is no longer allowed and the account is disabled for the duration specified in the error message.
Solution
If you are the site administrator and do not want to use account restrictions, or you want to modify the limits, open a page of the site in Dreamweaver then go to the InterAKT Control Panel > Login Settings > Restrictions. Un-tick the use restrictions checkbox or modify the limits as you need them.
If you are an user, you must try to login again when the disabled time has expired.
