Technote Details :: I have trouble working with the MX Shop website
Issue
Some of the pages generated using MX Shop do not load entirely, or they function wrong when viewed in a browser. The problem does not reproduce on another computer.
Reason
This happens because of an Internet Security program you have installed - like Zone Alarm or other firewall application - for which you have set the privacy settings too high. More exactly, some of these suites prevent the browser from using advanced headers, which are used for page redirects and page referral - in order to take you back on the original page when you click Cancel during an operation.
Solution
To solve this issue you must consult the user manual for the firewall program you are using and configure it to allow advanced headers for the website.
Zone Alarm users should follow these steps in order to get the pages working, as the latest edition blocks headers in the default configuration:
- Within Zone Alarm click the Privacy button.
- Within the Cookie control area click the Custom button..
- Untick the Remove private header information checkbox.
- Click Apply and then OK.
