Technote Details :: When I upload a file using KTML I get an error

When I try to upload a file using KTML's Remote File Browser, I get an error message:

Skipping "FILE_NAME". Error uploading file. Error returned:"Error_code_here" 

This happens because the folder where the file must be uploaded does not allow the user as which the web server is running to write files. In other words, the permissions for creating files are limited

There are two solutions to this problem:

1. Open the page that has KTML applied onto it and from the configuration options define another folder that grants enough permissions to the user as which the web server is running.
2. Change the permissions for the folder where uploaded files will be stored. You have to grant read and write permissions to the web server user. Instructions on how to change the permissions for a folder can be found in the server's operating system manual.
