Technote Details :: After installing a InterAKT extension, I get a message to fix the Insert bar

After installing a InterAKT extension that makes use of the InterAKT Control Panel, when I start Dreamweaver I get a message asking to rebuild the InterAKT's buttons bar:

This happens because the InterAKT extensions use the Control Panel as a central management place to provide update, upgrade and other options. The Control Panel icon and other MX Kollection buttons are displayed in the MX Kollection tab of the Insert bar, and when a new extension is installed, it will try to add its button icons after the existing ones, even after the Control Panel icon.

In order to keep the correct order of the MX Kollection tab's buttons, a check is performed after a new extension is installed. If the buttons are not positioned right, the script to fix them is started and this message is displayed.

If you get this message, you should click OK to allow the script to re-arrange the buttons. After the script finishes, you will be prompted to restart Dreamweaver for the changes to take effect - the buttons are loaded only once, when Dreamweaver starts:

After restart, the buttons will be displayed in the correct order.
