Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. How would one create a system similar to a weather-forecasting system? More specifically, a database of show listings around a city, then according to where in the city the show is, the database tells a JPEG or SWF where to put a blip or icon on the map (of the city.) Basically, I envision some sort of grid, with the background of the map of the city, then the database provides the coordinates of where to place the blip. I think an extension like this would be great. I'd even like just to see how this would get done with or without an extension!
