Hello, Ive done hours of google searching with no luck on this. I am looking for an extension that is just a simple code editor within an actual floater panel that can be docked side by side with the normal dreamweaver coding window (docked like a regular panel) I'd like to see things like color coding, code collapse, scrolling within this panel. Why would I want this you ask? I currently am using a editor called notepad++ (do a search for it). It has a feature called "tabbable multidocument split editing". What I usually will do is open up my CSS file in one side and all my xhtml documents on the other side in tabs for each document. I'd like to do this in dreamweaver - an have tried to just tile the windows but it is very clunky. So with this panel I'd like to be able to drag or open up my style sheet as is and edit away. (it could grouped with the current css panel)
Some additinal ideas for this panel: (when clicking on the class or id of the element in the xhtml document, the panel automatically scrolls or hilights that class or id in the style sheet. I know dreamweaver has a broad css feature set, and you can sort of do this in the css panel for dreamweaver, but I prefer to edit my css file directly, and I know alot of other coders do as well. (especially purists). Begging for this extension.

Hi Jonas,
thank you for taking the time to post your request here. I have to be honest and tell you that our development schedule is pretty full for the next 6 months or so, but we are always open to new ideas.
We will take your request and insert it into our to do list, but cannot promise a development for this any time in the near future.
If you have any other suggestions on either features you would like to see in this extension, or other extension you might want to see, please do not hesitate to aks. We will do our best to include them in a possible development plan.
Magda
