Details - InterAKT Site :: InterAKT site closing?

This thread was displayed: 0 times

Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

Following the takeover by Adobe, I heard a rumour that the InterAKT site was closing soon - possibly within days. Is that true?

How can I continue to have access to your extensive library of forum posts into the future? I regularly browse the forums for solutions. With them gone I feel the support level (that I paid for) will be reduced markedly.

Please consider these two suggestions:

1) That you make available all the forum posts in some sort of consolidated format i.e. CSV file, for download.

2) That you make available all of the SWF tutorial files for download. They are still on your server by the look of it, so a simple listing with links to download would suffice.

We have been loyal customers and in the spirit of customer support I can't see how Adobe could complain about these gestures on your part.

Whaddya say?

Steve.

Hello,

The site will not be closed in a few days. I cannot say for the SWF files, but all the content will be made available in some form, so it will not be lost.
