This thread was displayed: 0 times
Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.
For more information about the affected products visit: www.interaktonline.com/Support/

Hi
1: I cant find PHPakt anymore. Where is it?
2: Does PHPakt 3.6.0 support Dreamweaver CS3?
3: If not how can I then work in sites which where created with PHPakt (cant see databases anymore)?

As well as all other previous Interakt products, Phakt has now also been discontinued. Would certainly be good to make it available in "my account" though.

No, Phakt isn´t supported in CS3 (the new DW version supports PHP-MySQL only), and it´s actually impossible to install the Phakt extension on CS3.

>>
you can/must use your current Dreamweaver version for maintaining sites built with Phakt.

Hi8 again
But my current is CS3 because I have bought that from you.
Isent there a way to be able to work on these sites from Dreamweaver cs3?
Why removing features from the program?

Hi,

From *me* ? certainly not ;-) You must have bought CS3 from Adobe -- but you seem to have an older version (e.g. DW8) installed, true ? Use this version to edit your Phakt sites as before, and create new non-Phakt sites with CS3.

no, CS3 doesn´t support Phakt, and hence you can´t edit your Phakt sites with CS3
>>
Why removing features from the program?

I´m personally also not happy at all about Adobe´s decision to discontinue support for Phakt in CS3, because all my previous sites are done with Phakt too -- but that´s regretfully how it is. On the other hand I´m *very* happy to see the immense improvements in Dreamweaver CS3, and I´m looking forward doing future projects with the new version.
