Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

Hello James,
You will be notified by e-mail about the upgrade policy. Developer Toolbox will only work with DW CS3.

I just downloaded the FREE upgrade to the Developer Tool box.
Only to find out that it will cost me $500.00 to upgrade and use it ??????
Seems kind of wrong to me!

Dean,
Developer Toolbox extension only works with Dreamweaver CS3. Maybe you are talking about buying Dreamweaver.

I own Studio 8, Running 8.0.2 Dreamweaver. Now, the only way for me to use the extension and subsequently get support is to upgrade to CS3, $500.00 worth!
Personnaly, I'm sticking with Dreamweaver 8 and the Kollection!

I don't know exactly how much the CS3 Suite upgrade costs in your case, but I think it's cheaper if you only buy Dreamweaver CS3. It depends on what you need.

Yes, the Dreamweaver upgrade is less expensive but then CS3 and the rest of Studio 8 are not compatible if I understand it correctly. Thats why I purchased Studio 8, so that everything would work together, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks and such. Unless I missed something my only option is to pay $499.00 for the CS3 upgrade.
So I stay with Studio 8.

I think for all Kollection and DW8 owners upgrading to CS3 is too painful. If adobe will not give reasonable solutions to problems related to the discontiued and uncompatible products of former Interakt. Upgradings are always problematic, but this case is something never seen before.

Do you know if the e-mail with the upgrade pricing for Toolbox has been sent out? Adobe says that the only way to receive the upgrade price is to follow the instructions sent out on the e-mail, however I haven't received the e-mail and I own MX Kollection. If the e-mail was already sent out, is there a way to have another one sent? Adobe says they are unable to do it, so I was hoping that someone from Interakt may be able to help.

If you received the e-mail "Invitation to upgrade InterAKT Kollection!!" And followed the link to sign up, just follow it again. I did it twice to finally get my sign up letter. Don't forget to use the e-mail address you have on account with InterAKT or you won't get the upgrade.

price in europe is 880 $ without taxes, arround 1065 $ including taxes (depending on the country) and we are not allowed to buy adobe software on us e-shop.
this is the way adode cope with freedom of the world trade.
it's a shame
