Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

I want to say THANK YOU to you, my InterAKT buddies! Thanks for your products, thanks for your support!
I will however say that, it still sucks that Adobe bought you out...I don't like change especially when I have dealt with you all for so long. I will get over it I am sure, and I know your products will be safe in the hands of Adobe, who themselves have a proven record with their products and with Macromedia's products.
What I hope to see is that Adobe will integrate InterAKT products with Dreamwaver someday...it will ne nice. If not I will continue to show my loyalty and buy your products.
THANKS!!!!

I guess you guys must be celebrating, you deserve it.
Just one comment on the upgrade for existing customers who acquired most of the products, the 'free' upgrade option to kollection seems more like a downgrade. Less products in a package. too bad. I understand the other products will be supported for 6 more months, however after that it will be gone and over with.
I just hope adobe will continue to be clear about the new product developments, integrations etc because at the moment adobe is not to good at that. I didn't mind them buying a large company like macromedia in order to get rid of the competition, however buying a small company like Interakt (which I followed since the beginning and grew to love) feels like part of me died.
I was looking forward to the MX Kommerce developments that were coming up, they seemed very promising.
Does anyone know any alternative for this?
With mixed feelings: congratulations on your success you deserved it, I just hope the future will provide us with more companies like Interakt.
Kind regards,
Richard

Congrats firstly on some brilliant products and innovations and on your successful business move, you must all be delighted, continued success whatever you all get up to, I was always treated very kindly here.
I think Interakt was so special because of the close interaction with its customers. There was a community spirit here which will probably be lost now that Adobe have taken the helm.
I'm sure they will continue many aspects of your work to the benifit of many but at a
price to their international customers perhaps, as is the case with all their other products
owning their software outside the US carries a premium, this is my only real problem with Adobe.

Hi guys,
Thank you so much for all your kinds words. This means a great deal for us! As you know, our clients were always our main concern. We really tried to make sure we suit most of your needs. Very often when you guys made a good comment on our products or services we put that message as our YM status, that's how important it was for us to make you feel satisfied.
We are both sad and happy. We're a little sad that there is no more InterAKT - a company that we belived in and worked very hard for. But we're mostly very excided about joining Adobe. We're playing the Big League now!
I hope you found the InterAKT products very useful and I hope you'll support us through our new jurney with Adobe,
Kindest regards,
Mihaela

WebAssist has a decent e-commerce solution: e-cart
You could also check out Cartweaver, in my opinion, much easier to work with.

Hi everyone in this thread,
may I invite you to leave a comment in this thread:
http://www.interaktonline.com/Support/Forums/InterAKT-Site/Details/115405/Open+Letter+to+Adobe+and+former+Interakt.html
which contains an Open Letter to Adobe and Interakt I proposed expressing the very same concerns you expressed here. I feel that the least the concerned customers here on the forum can do is to join and let Adobe know how this acquisition has affected us and what we expect for the future. I do hope that Adobe does listen and perhaps react in some way that may be beneficial to us.
Thanks,
Bernd

Sad day for us customers I reckon but good luck to Interakt. I have used your (GREAT) extensions for a long time. Will you still be doing professional paid for support for big projects? You sold out!! Well I guess if I was in your shoes I would do the same so good luck to you all anyway.
