This thread was displayed: 146 times
Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.
For more information about the affected products visit: www.interaktonline.com/Support/

I know this is a long shot, but is it possible for Adobe (that is going to take a while to get used to that) to update the "Understanding the Transaction Engine 3" to include Cold Fusion examples for Transactions and Triggers.
Right now they are only PHP and I don't speak/understand that language :)
Thanks if you can and BOOOOO! :) if you can't.

Hi Gary,
We don't have the technical specifications written for ColdFusion. They were written just for PHP, unfortunately. Translating that book to CF would take a while and, with the acquisition, I don't think this is our main focus right now.
Sorry to disappoint you.
Regards,
Marius

Well everyone!!
This is the first official "We are to busy, with more important Adobe stuff, to support our current product" response. I'm sure more are to follow.
I am sincerely happy for InterAKT in the decision to become apart of the Adobe family. Hopefully (and that is a big hope) Adobe will drive your efforts in developing "complete" products before they are released.
NOTE: This is not a stab at your customer service or business ethics (which has been happening a lot lately), I am just stating some facts and getting some of my frustrations out. The real tragedy in the whole acquisition is the MASSIVE list of products that were discontinued. Especially Kommerce/Kart, from what I read in the BETA forums it was going to be a real KICK ASS extension suite. Oh well, you guys need to eat to (not to mention the sweet benefits package you get).
