Hello everyone,

We've just released MX AJAX Toolbox vers. 1.0.9 for Dreamweaver AJAX Beta group.

As you know, we focused on bug corrections but we also did some minor improvements. We want you guys to have a look at this build before releasing vers. 1.1.0 for public.

So let's see what's new in this release:

Bug corrections

  • Apply "inline widgets" on html pages
  • Fixes to edit-in-place and drag&drop ("I can't see the item dragged after I've edited it").
  • Suggest text field on NeXTensio form.
  • Undo when editing the content of a panel.
  • Panel translator incompatibility with some non-InterAKT products.
  • Suggest text field on DW 2004.
  • Accordion inline looses content when using Manage Regions.
  • Interface labels, contextual help.
  • Setting title & meta information for the default state of the master page.
  • Incorrect paths for widgets inside a panel not in root site.
  • Many, many other small issues fixed.

(Minor) changes:

  • New entry in InterAKT Control Panel > AJAX Debugging mode that you choose error reporting mode: On screen (classic javascript alert) or To file (a file will be written to /includes/kore/log/.log containing the error message and the time).
  • Interface change for AJAX Edit-In-Place: Advanced tab was added that let you set validation rules for the in place edited text.
  • Improvements to Panels Floater.

I'm looking forward to your feedback.  (of course, you can report bugs on Mantis).

One more (important) thing: We'll be out of office for team building on the Black Sea Coast from Wednesday till Sunday (23 to 27 of August).  We'll be glad if some of you have the time to look at the public forum and try to answer to some of the issues posted there. Most of them are about product usage (how tos) and I know you have the knowledge to do this. You proved yourself during the development phase of the Toolbox.

Many many thanks in advance!

My best regards,

Dragos

Anything special about installing this?   I assume any projects we have in progress will continue to work if we upgrde to this version?

Thanks.   Have a great time.  I'm jealous.   No one on my "team" but me.  :)

Thanks for everything ....as usual.

Neil

David --

There's a note in the Kollection forum that this might occur, and to ignore all of the warnings.

The Black Sea coast kinda looks like the beaches in Half Life 2.

Beware the Ant Lions!

HAVE FUN GUYS :)

Good timing for this release!  I was just getting ready to add some ajax features into an existing site back end.

The dynamic table, and edit in place worked flawlessly.  I had previously had a problem with the edit in place not saving to the database, but that has been resolved with this release.

The validation feature is very handy.  No error popped up, but incorrect values were not accepted. Is this correct?

Thanks again for a fantastic product, and have a great week!

Hi Tom,

Use the InterAKT Control Panel to switch the debugging mode from "to file" to "on screen" (popup).

Dragos

Does this "dot" release indicate that InterAKT will start translating to CF and ASP?  Will it coinside with Kollection Pro translation?

Just checking on a time frame.
