Hi team, As you may already know, we're bundling MX AJAX Toolbox and MX Kollection 3 Pro and selling them as "AJAX Power Pack". To demonstrate the power of the two products combined, we have prepared a demo website: a photo gallery. I submit it to your review: http://cia.interaktonline.com/demos/AjaxPowerPack/ We want you to test it in Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari and be on the look out for: - any errors/bugs
- workflow problems (is it easy to use?)
- spelling/typos
- general design and layout
Do you think it effectively communicates the full potential of the bundle? Regards, Marius

in album “KIDS” all the images are not seen. I am explained: If the time of loading of the image is exceeded before posting : the viewer jump to the following image without perhaps allowing the posting of the image in the course of loading… a problem of adjustment passes?

same in the "ANIMALS" serie when the image "cubbybchair.jpg" load (long loading time, the viewer not display it and go forward).

It may be because I was first to use a particular album but,
If you got to an album and the loading indicators are spinning happily then you press on play you can go from picture to picture without them ever being loaded so all you see is the spinning loading indicators until everything catches up.
I think there needs to be some trigger that says the time the image is displayed starts from when it actually appears rather than a strict 5000ms between them.
My preferred option would be that the images are resized on upload and thumbnails produced so that on the fly resizing is not required. [I would also like 'teaser' thumbnails where only part of the image is shown as the thumbnail]
Overall the gallery itself is not showing me anything I can't see in many other web gallery packages and whilst from a technical point of view it is a good indication of what can be achieved with the Ajax tool bar why should use it.
I will be developing an image gallery soon for my own work but I hope to harness the power of he Ajax extensions to be able to show descriptions, exif, costing and full screen versions and if I can get it working on the camera google maps from exif gps data.

I created an album (LIEGE) and none the images is posted because the viewer goes too quickly (images of 220kb approximately)
Other problem : when y have finish, y click on the logout but nothing... i'm already login...
(look at the image attached to see with which moment I clicked on logout )

Yes, think it is important, at the time of the presentation of the viewer of images on DMXZONE.com much of questions and critical also related to the management of the timing and the information posted with the images

I cannot change the order of my images after the upload? I move them but they are always posted in the same order?

Had a play and uploaded two albums.
Two errors photographed and attached
Images uploaded are for testing so you have the highgate panorama and tall ones which were to see what happened with unusual image extra wide and extra tall ones.
Below is what I found as I went along. performance worries me though as it is very sluggish and it would be interesting to know if this is server or product related
This is looking from a user perspective not an It person.
captcha - surely with Ajax a failed captcha should only reload the captcha not the whole page. I typically get captcha wrong because with some letters it is difficult to distinguish between upper and lower case especially when sizes are mixed freely between the two. It annoys me that I don't get a second chance without having to re-type data
What is "TNG Execution trace" on failed (password) login - user hostile
Why two emails on account creation
Uploading images - loading indicators confusing as they go 0-100 immediately per image
Titling problems - if you cancel you don't seem to be able to re-try
also if the box loses focus you can't seem to get it back and have to cancel.
You have default text in the box - if you click and drag to highlight the text prior to typing a character to delete it it interprets that as a drag of the whole box and you lose focus on the text box. The only thing to do is cancel and then you have to upload another photo to get a chance of changing the text
Titling - why no 'save on lose focus' e.g. as per access/excel etc. The whole in place edit is not behaving as expected for someone used to standard windows ui behaviours.
Error message on adding title to photos - attached
A 2 line album line title goes outside box on album page
Going back to edit the albums - click on album to edit - comes up - text at top says My Albums > {sot1image_image.name_alb} - photo attached
It can be very slow when moving photos around to re-roder them - clint side is quick but server side processing seems very slow.
Remember me doesn't work in Firefox
Login fields not captured by roboform or firefox form fields capture
Wouldn't album cover selection more correctly be radio button to conform to Ui expectations
It would be tidier if album cover defaulted to the first picture if none selected
Order given but not used in display on paqes.

I found almost (ALMOST!) all these same issues.
Great job of checking things out David.

Hi Marius, Browser : firefox 1.5.0.6
1. Same problem for me with the slideshow function. Some pictures are not shown. 2. I added a picture in a gallery. This picture appeared on second page (record N°16). I deleted it but after refresh I had the empty table showing an empty record N°16. I could be better to have the first page of the listing (containing records) instead of this empty one. Comming back to you as I finish these tests. Jerome
