Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

I recently purchased and download the Kollection 3.7.1 product. The only portion of it that I want to use is KTML4. Our team is attempting to use KTML4 to replace a textarea field that is currently in our CMS for our end users.
When I unzip the file and look in the KTML4 folder I see a DOCS folder with a help file and TUTORIALS folder. The help file is of no help at all as none of the information seesm to be accurate. I try to follow the help session when it directs me to "Unpack the downloaded zip file containing the KTML sources". Therefore, I search for a zip file. The only file that would make any sense is a file located under TUTORIALS>COLDFUSION>CMS called ktml4_cms_coldfusion.zip. The instructions speak of copying the "includes" and "uploads" folders. The only problem is that there are no folders in the zip file. In fact, the only folder is called "admin" and most all of the files are blank CFM files.
So, did I receive the wrong product? Have I not found a well hidden zip file? If I do have the correct zip file, can you send me the latest version of the Help file because it does not really help with the information that I have.
Please do not direct me to the uses of Kollection and its other tools that can be loaded as extensions in Dreamweaver. I only want to install and use the KTML product.

Hello,
The Kollection bundle contain the KTML for Dreamweaver so you should find a mxp file that you need to install in Dreamweaver to use it.

Please make note of two sentences in my original posting...
"Our team is attempting to use KTML4 to replace a textarea field that is currently in our CMS for our end users."
and
"Please do not direct me to the uses of Kollection and its other tools that can be loaded as extensions in Dreamweaver."
As you can see, we have no desire to load the extensions into Dreamweaver. We are only needing to use KTML to replace a textarea field in our current CMS tool. Can this be done?

Hello,
Yes, it can be done but from Dreamweaver. KTML is a Dreamweaver extensions, so you need to install it first . After this, when applying it on the textfield, Dreamweaver will generate all the appropriate files.

Great. Thank you. This clears things up as we were under the impression that you could install KTML without using Dreamweaver. This sets us on the right path. Thanks again.
