New documentation to help you get started

The MX Kollection release features a new and improved documentation that can be accessed from any InterAKT interface simply by clicking on the help button available on each interface and also from the Dreamweaver Help menu. This means that you will not struggle through tons of .PDF pages looking for the behavior you need, but will be taken directly to the subject of your interest.

Another interesting feature of this new documentation is that you can enter your own comments to each page, telling others if things were left out, or if we did not explain things correctly.

Knowledge Base to find information on various issues

We wanted to create a knowledge pool where all the information you need can be available at any moment. You have two criteria to search by. You can either go by product, and search for a specific server behavior, or go for a general classification and look for things such as problems with site definition or compatibility issues.

The knowledge base will feature not only your exact error, but also the reason for this error and the solution to it.

Hope you will enjoy this new section of the InterAKT website, which was designed especially to offer our customers the best support available for all their products.

Online troubleshooter for specific problems

The error handling system embedded in our products has a second component right on our website. The troubleshooter will take you to specific technotes written precisely for your specific problem. This is the closest thing possible to a personal trainer, telling you what went wrong with your page and how you can go about correcting things.

Advanced Search

The new Search implemented in the InterAKT site was greatly improved. Not only do you get a much better response time, but the new search offers you a suggested result.

Say you type in MX Kollection. Among the thousands of results that take you to the product forum, or to the features page or to a news entry, we select the main page of the MX Kollection site and offer it to you as a suggested result.

You can now select the area where you want to look in and even pin point it to a specific location. You previously could search in the forums. But now you can even search in a specific product forum. The same holds true for the Knowledge base. You can search the entire Knowledge base or a specific area (product related or according to the general classification).

The priorities have been altered, so that the search results you are getting are much closer to what you really want to find.

InterAKT Store Improvements

The InterAKT store has been refitted to accommodate the MX Kollection upgrade. Whether you have some of the products or the full bundle, your upgrade price will be automatically calculated and you will be offered the best possible deal.

Say you own NeXTensio and ImpAKT and want to upgrade to MX Kollection 3. Not only will you be offered an upgrade price for the two products you own, but you will also benefit from a special discount for completing your bundle.

The site also offers you the possibility to get a better product for your money. For example, if you order an MX Form Validation and an MX Send E-mail, the InterAKT Store will offer you the purchase of ImpAKT, for the same amount of money. This up sale feature was designed to make people aware of their options in choosing a bundle rather than separate products.
