Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

Hello,

Magda Neagu wrote couple days ago that:

"Unfortunatelly the MX Newsletter software has been discontinued due to the fact that it was not compatible with our other products and it did not meet our quality standards."

So is this final decision of Interakt and you are not going to update this extension anymore?

I would also like to know what the plans for mx newsletter are.

I purchased a licence a while ago and have never used it or got it working.

I have to agree, unfortunately.

I am one of the most outspoken fans of Interakt. I think Interakt are a great company, who have great products and fantastic and helpful employees.

However this newsletter is a complete disaster. I bought the item some time ago and never successfully got it work, wasting many, many billable time hours which was not recovered.

Could I ask Interakt if they can either refund, or, at the very least give all the unfortunately people with held licences a voucher for the full amount paid, towards other software from Interakt. This would show enormous loyality from Interakt to its customers (as I'm sure Interakt would agree about the loyality shown by its clients to Interakt - proof of the recent awards given to Interakt), and speaking personally would help remove the 'lump in the financial throat' having bought this 'lemon'.

If interakt do not meet or help licence holders, I'm sure we shall keep buying, but maybe the shine will be taken off shouting about Interakts products to other designers, developers and MD's who we have to sometimes justify the budgets every year.

Just a thought, and I hope one of the directors can get back to us on this, and not let it go unreplied?

Newsletter was a lemon, can Interakt reply to licence holders with a guesture

I have to agree, unfortunately.

Yep... I am disappointed as I did purchase the product... years ago... never got a single newsletter out (see prior posts)...


Because I'm not an expert I believed that either a) I made some kind of set up error or b) new software... buggy, will be fixed in next version.


Interakt... how about a reasonable gesture.

I have struggled with the 2 licences I have bought... no real satisfaction from clients and has bled me dry of time trying to support the installs! even resorted to buying commercial support!!!!!!!!

glad i spent my money!!! NOT
