Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

  • Features: if you want to take a closer look over the product features please visit the KTML Features page
  • Benefits: Look over the KTML Benefits and find out why it worth using KTML over other HTML Editor

Product Documentation

We created the new KTML documentation to cover all product usage situations and to address to both developers and end users. The documentation features a set of manuals including:

  • Getting started guide
  • User manual
  • Tutorials
  • API documentation

To download the available manuals or browse their online version, please go to the KTML documentation page.

Licensing

To make KTML more affordable, we have re-shaped our license policy and created three commercial licenses and one free license:

  • KTML Single Domain License ($99)
  • KTML Developer License ($299)
  • KTML Redistribution License (negotiable)
  • KTML 4 Lite (free)

You can read a detailed license comparison here.

All commercial versions have the same set of features, while the Lite version represents an entry level version. You can read a feature comparison between the commercial and the Lite versions here.

Support

We usually respond within the next 48 to 72 hours, but the response time might be influenced by the time zone differences. You should take into account the fact that we are located in Romania and there might be an extra 8 to 12 hours difference.

Sincerely,

Cristinel

 Hi,
For one of our clients we need to offer word-like editing in a browser.
The requirement is as per details mentioned below:
 a) The proposed system shall be based on Java/J2EE architecture and shall make use of Struts Framework and/or JSPs
 b) For some of the pages we need to offer word-like editing in a browser, something very similar to what you see while composing an email in yahoo.
 c) The formatted text shall be saved into Oracle database and should appear with the saved formatting as and when it is retrieved from the database.

Would like to check whether any of your product(s) meets these requirements.

Your prompt response will be highly appreciated.

 Regards,
 Sajan

Hello,

KTML4 for JSP was integrated by as in two JSP based CMSs.

So if you are building for one of your clients a web application, KTML4 is the best thing that handles all your requirements.

KTML4 is based on J2EE technology and can be easily integrated within a JSP/Struts web application.

KTML4 edits formated text and I suggest you to take a look at our demo. It is highly customisable and the toolbar can be set up very easily to suit your needs. KTML4 is linked with a hidden field inside the page so to submit back it's content it's as easy as using a common textarea.

Best regards,
Remus Stratulat

 Hi ,
Is it possible for us to save the contents (after applying word formatting using KTML) into database and retrieve them as it is with all the formatting intact.

e.g if we create a table ( 3 columns, 2 rows etc.) on a web form using KTML then :
a)  Will it be possible for us to save this table into Oracle database ?
b) Retrieve the table as it is with all the content formatting in a different form ?

Regards,
Sajan

Of course.

Actually that is the whole purpose of KTML. You edit a formated text and this text is saved as HTML into the database. After that, you can retrieve that text from the database and use it as you please, if you display the text into a browser you will have all the formating there.

Hi all,

I would like to know if there is a free/evaluation KTML4_Jahia software to integrate it with Jahia. If so, where can I download it?

Hello Nuno,

Unfortunately we do not have a Jahia integration of the KTML 4 Lite version yet. For the KTML 4.0 version we have only integrated the KTML full version.

We plan to have a KTML Lite integration into Jahia, but this will take one more month.

Best regards,

Cristinel
