KTML for Dreamweaver Forum :: KTML 4, vista, filebrowser, no images to be seen

Hi,

We have written a KTML image upload. Works fine on a couple of XP and a VISTA machine. However, our customer is using the program too under VISTA and he has the following strange experiences:

When he wants to do a search on a map his button in the filebrowser says "upload" and on our VISTA the correct Dutch word "bladeren" is being used to look for maps and files. I would expect the client PC to display the same button as on out client PC because it uses a KTML filebrowser. And we have indeed chosen for Dutch titles.

In addition, if he chooses the map My Pictures he doesn't see any jpg files even though such files are present in the map.

Has anybody seen this problem before?

I have just run into this as well.  I need to look further into the KTML code to figure out why it is doing that.

For your users, they can type in * in the file name area and it will show all files.

After searchign the forum I found the answer.

Remove the spaces from the list of allowed file types.

gif,jpg,swf,png  rather than the old gif, jpg, swf, png
