Hey guys,

I am using KTML in my admin pages for a huge online site for a local dispensary.

I keep getting the following error (and see attached image): ".NET Component: An error occured when executing 'thumbnail' " when I upload an image through the editor. It uploads the image but errors on the thumbnail display in the editor.

I have double checked the permissions over and over on the folders and they are all correct with write/modify settings on the Temp upload folder and on the destination folders.

Have you come across this before? Is there something I am missing? I am hosting the site in the US with Lunarpages.

I'd appreciate your help in this matter.

Steve

Hello Steve,

Is the path to the image folder (that the error is reporting) correct? This looks like a problem caused by the web server permission settings, indeed. What is your web server version?

Could you maybe provide URL and FTP access to your site inorder to do some debugging? Use private post for this.

You (or your sys admin) should try to give read/write permission for IIS-WPG and for the user used by .NET framework (usually NETWORK_SERVICE on Windows 2003) on the "/includes/common/lib/file_upload/Temp folder" and on the "/uploads/media" folder.

I don't think you can do all required operations from Plesk control panel.

As an observation - Tidy module is also not installed (check here) so you won't be able to use the XHTML convert feature and also the Spellchecker (Aspell also needs to be installed).

Thanks for your help Ionut.

I will send a support email to my ISP and see if they can help.

Cheers

Steve
