Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

For more information about the affected products visit: www.interaktonline.com/Support/

I've got two problems.

1) Although the image library and insertion process works fine, images do not show properly in the edit window until published - that is, they appear normally in the image library browse window, and once the text is saved to database and re-generated as HTML content, the image displays fine. If I decide to edit the text again and load it back into the KTML editor, the images still appear fine. But for any new editing instance, images placed in the text window by selecting them from the library and inserted show as missing images. I have tried several settings for image library pathways, turned strip server name off and on, and nothing seems to help. The Image libraries are located in [root]/uploads/media/[personalfolder] and the KTML instance is located in [root]/blogs/blog.aspx. All other KTML folders are using the default locations. Tell me what settings I should be using!!

2) I have never successfully placed a video or other media file using KTML. I can upload it, it appears in the library, an appropriate icon appears in the edit window when I insert it, and when published the player controls are displayed. However, looking at the code, no path to the video was retained, and the video does not play. Same pathways as above.

an update....videos are as described above (the URL path is not loaded). WMA files load as links, as do mp3's...without embedded controls....

Hi Jeff,

Please provide a live URL where we can test this behavior as it does not reproduce on our servers. Also post details for a FTP connection in a private post so we can debug the issue.

Regards,
Cristian
