I have downloaded InterAKT Lite as it appears to be what I am looking for.

However, I have tried using it (in VB.NET) but I am now stuck and am not sure if what I am trying to do is possible.

My Scenario:

We receive emails with HTML content from various sources which we want to then be able to display on our Intranet

I need some way of saving the html content to a SQL database (either a path to the saved file or saving the html content to a field)

This html content then needs to be selectively displayed by users on our intranet (eg by date, type etc)

The system will use .NET and SQL applications

Currently I can copy and paste the html from the email into the KTMLLite object and can edit it etc. However I cannot then save the html anywhere.

Is this possible? Do I need the full version?

This program appears to be what I need as long as it can do the above.

Your help is much appreciated

Hello Paul,

What you need to implement is not a feature of KTML, but it is just related to building an update record form.

So, you will need to build an update record form page where you will apply KTML over the field displaying the e-mail content (where you will put the e-mail content). You will need to check the tutorials from the documentation for more details.

Regards,
Ionut

I have tried inserting the text of the KTML object (ie KtmlLite1.text) into the database but this turns out to be blank. How do you access the HTML text?

Paul, as I explain, this has nothing to do with KTML. You just need to build a working record update form using a simple textarea (instead of KTML). When you have the working update form, just apply KTML on the textarea field.
