    Hi

We are about to purchase the CSS menus and, because we found the on-line documentation difficult to follow, we downloaded the MX Tree to experiment with.

    1) The ASP tutorial has errors in it.

    2) It was quite difficult initially to see how the directory_dir table worked.  We eventually worked out that iddir_id points back to id_dir, and this determines the menu structure. Question:  is it the same for the CSS menus?

HOWEVER, we can't quite see HOW TO make an ASP page which allow us to construct such a table dynamically (e.g. letting our users build the menu).  I'm sorry if this appears to be a silly question, but would very much appreciate any pointers to constructing a WEB page (ASP) which would allow us to create the table directory_dir dynamically.

    Help!

Have designed a VB "menu designer" using a NetTensio List and a couple of NextTensio forms - magic stuff!!

PS - I think you should explain the menu table structure more clearly - for numpties like me - it took me a while to see the logic.

      Hello Barry,

      Regarding your first two questions:

      1) could you please be more specific regarding the errors from tutorial?

      2) indeed, this is how things work for CSS Dyanmic Menus also.

Of course, you can use NeXTensio2 for creating the admin section from where you can "design" the menu structure.

      Regards,
      Ionut
