This thread was displayed: 215 times

Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

For more information about the affected products visit: www.interaktonline.com/Support/

    Hello everyone,

We are proud to announce the release of JSEclipse on Adobe Labs. Starting December 15, 2006, JSEclipse will be available for download at the following location:

    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=labs_jseclipse

If you're using the Update Manager to install or update JSEclipse, you should change the URL to this one:

    http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs/jseclipse/autoinstall/

Please review the installation instructions for details.

This release includes a few minor changes from the previous version (1.5.2.2):

    • Registration process on the InterAKT website was removed.
    • Some interface changes, to make the application compatible with the Adobe brand.
    • Documentation updates.
    • New license (End User License Agreement).
    • Fixed a packaging bug.

     1. Will JSEclipse continue to be free?

Yes, JSEclipse will be available for download free of charge via Adobe Labs.

    2. Why is JSEclipse released as an Adobe product?

InterAKT Online has been acquired by Adobe Systems on September 6, 2006. As such, all InterAKT assets, including its technology & products, have become the property of Adobe Systems. JSEclipse's release on Labs is an opportunity for the Adobe community to experience and evaluate this innovative Eclipse plugin. We anticipate more customers to become involved in the future development of JSEclipse, by sharing feedback with other people in the community.

    3. Will my InterAKT username work on Adobe Labs, as well?

No, you need to have an Adobe user ID, to be able to download JSEclipse and post to the forum. To request one, please visit this URL.

    Regards,

    Marius Zaharia
