Eclipse 3.1.2 on a MAC

I searched through the forum but did not find answer that works for me

JSEclipse doesn't appear in the menu even when I edit .js file.

I tried to copy plugins folder into the root directory of Eclipse and it replaced my previous plugins folder. Although the JSEclipse installation instructions said that it updates plugins folder. So I replace this new plugin forlder with my older version since new plugin folder did not have my old plugins.

I tried to copy content (.jar) of JSEclipse plugin and feature folders to the corresponding Eclipse folders. Nothing happend, Eclipse does not appear to have a plugin installed. Any ideas?

I also tried to install JSEclipse via help->Software Updates ->Find and Install...->Search for New Features to Instal-->InterAct Online site ...

No features to install were found

Thanks!

So you say that both jars are in the corresponding folders inside JSEclipse.

If you go in Help > Software Updates > Manage Configuration and enable the "Show disabled features" button, can you see JSEclipse there?

Please try to install JSEclipse from our site again. There was a bug in the site.xml file that was solved.

I have tried the what you have suggested. Even reinstalled. Using version 1.5.2.2

The feature is enabled and in the properties it says: The feature is configured properly.

...but I can still not see any menu for JSEclipse....

And what's happening when you open a .js file?

I had the same problem, and I did the following:

1.- Start a new eclipse installation (maybe this is not necessary)

2.- Install JSEclipse using the site (no with the zip file): http://www.interaktonline.com/

3.- Start a new general proyect

4.- Add a new "file" to the proyect with the "js" extension......and the plug-in appears.

I hope someone find this useful.
