Hello, much to my chagrin, I've learned that my app must support Safari, but when I test it, it can't even login.

I'm using an un-upgraded version of MacOSx, and Safari build 85.8.1 -- I understand that this is an out-of-date version, but that I must PAY for an OS upgrade, just so that I can get the latest browser??? How retarded. Apple shouldn't be in the business of building browsers!!!

Is that build the only problem, in other words, can I sniff the browser and simply say that they must upgrade to a certain version?

Specifically, maybe what I'm looking for is a browser support matrix? Something that I can use to pre-determine what will work, and what won't on various browsers... Then I could build a page which offers workarounds.

Hello,

There should be no problems with this on Safari. Can you post the URL of the login page and a valid username and password so we can try and see this behavior?

Hello,

I have tested this with Safari 2.0.4 and it works. Also, as can be seen from this page, Safari is supported from 1.3.2.
