MX Includes Forum :: Include error message

Hi,

I use MX Kart, MX Includes etc. PHP. I know there's not many people around here anymore but as I am desperate here I am. I hope someone will be able to help otherwise my business could go to the wall. After adding a checkbox "special offer" in nextensio, and the appropriate field in the data base, I now have an error when I click on the order button on the last checkout page : Fatal error: Failed opening required '/web/Xg/Xa/Xr/gardenserre.com/public/www/includes/MXKart/checkout_.inc.php' (include_path='.:') in /web/Xg/Xa/Xr/gardenserre.com/public/www/includes/MXKart/checkout.inc.php on line 49.

I have tried by renaming the Dreamweaver config folder and re-opening Dreamweaver thus creating a new config. folder and then reinstalling the Interakt extensions but it doesn't change anything. Also, I can't access the MX Kart Properties GUI : I get an error \listMenu.js:TypeError:this.listControl.getvalue is not a function. Can anyone help ?

Hi Pete,

can you please check if the file "checkout_.inc.php" has actually been uploaded to the remote server (means, in the includes/MXKart/ directory) ? this error message usually points to a missing file, and occasionally DW doesn´t perform a file transfer that well.

Its nice to see there's still somebody alive on these forums !

I found the reason for the error (after working all night) : after activating the "specialoffers" discount in the Kart Properties GUI, the kartprops.php file was somehow corrupted which led to the error. Why, I don't know. Thankfully, I'd backed up the file which allowed me to upload the old version and thus save my site from disaster. However, now I can't use my special offers nugget because I'm frightened of reactivating the specialoffers discount again in the Kart Properties. Its a pain having no support from Interakt but I'm stuck with their products for now !

now that you have that backup file, why not try it again and see if it´s just been a random error or if it´s a reproducable issue.

Yes, I could and should but I've moved on and am so happy that the site's live again. Also, it is very busy at the moment with thankfully new orders every day so I'll leave it alone for the time being !
