MX Includes Forum :: File Size Limit for SSIs?

Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

I've set up some SSIs on a site that are stories that vary in length, and have discovered that the ones that are over 100KB don't show up. Everything under 100KB works perfectly. Is there a file size limit for the include? It seems to be the case, because if I chop out enough text in a story to get it under 100KB, it works properly. Any advice appreciated!

Hello,

SSI engine is parsing the content of your page and attempts to transform all URLs to absolute if relative. If you have a lot of content or your page contains a large number of links, the script that runs may face a time-out restriction from the server.

So this is related to your server's performance, script time-out setting etc.
