Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

 I have been using Interakt extension for some time and currently have ADDT with DW CS3. My requirement is to make selecting a file in the FileField compulsory so that the form cannot make a Db entry cannot be made without uploading and renaming a file.

I would be very grateful for any assistance.

Not an ADDT user but surely there is a "validate field" tickbox somewhere that you can set to "Required"?

If not you will have to use a custom error and check if the field is empty and display an error.
