MX Coder Pack Forum :: Other Problem cannot see the menu

It happen to me too. I was succesfull installed the Coder Pack on my DW 8.

And when I try this on my DW 8, I try to see the menu on window menu > Display Functions List Floater but I can't see this menu :(

Also I try to test my Code Pack when hit CTRL+SPACE, but why my variable not SHOW UP :( What happen and what's wrong?

Please give me information how to fix it.

Please give us more details about this problem(Dreamweaver version, Server Model, Operating Sistem) because I can't reproduce it using DW 8, PHP on Windows XP.

My DW is 8 and My Windows is XP SP2 Home Edition.

The main problem is I can see the menu on Windows tab and On Code Navigation Icon bar only generate the function, but not the variable.

My Server Model is PHP and MySQL on Windows (localhost)

Please Help My Problem.

If I can't fix this, this like useless extension for me.

The Function List and On Code Navigation don't display the variables too, only the functions names(they are use for a easy navigation). The variables are displayed only when you want to echo a variable or return in a function a variable. I have uploaded an screenshot with my DW with Coder Pack working.

So what Must I do? does the variable only show inside the function?
If I have function bla bla($myvar)

only $myvar that show? and variable outside that function will not show?

Or this error on my Coder Pack Extension? I was try to remove and re-installed but still doesn't work
And this my Screen Shoot again and I also try to find my coder pack task and I can't found it.

Please help me.

No, the variable names should show inside and outside the function.

Please try this:
Please delete the following file: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\WinFileCache-xxxxxxxx.dat (the path is Macintosh HD:Users:MAC_User:Library:Application Support:Macromedia:Dreamweaver MX 2004:Configuration for MAC users). The [username] should be replaced with the actual Windows currently logged in user, and also be aware that Application Data is a hidden folder. This file is a Dreamweaver cache index which seems to coordinate the entire caching system. Removing this file won't harm your configuration, Dreamweaver will find out that this file is missing so it will rebuild its entirely caching system and it will generate the file again.

Then, open Dreamweaver, create a new php page, save it and try again.

Let us know if that fixes the problem.

The problem not yet solved, I still have same problem, like my attachment before.

This I upload my screenshoot again about my. On Windows menu, I can't find Display Functions List Floater menu. This menu dissapear from My DW8

I saw from Catalin Anastasoaie screen shoot before this tread and there no HTML TAGS too and Work Well. So I just do like Catalin Anastasoaie screenshot and CODE Again.

But the other problem is, on my Windows Menu > Display Functions List Floater not shown. You can check on my Screen shoot on tread before this one.

And here my another screen shoot with file that I was saved, also contain some HTML TAGS, but my CODER PACK not display my variable hint and Windows > Display Functions List Floater still dissappear.


Please help me to solve this problem.

In order to investigate this further, and solve it, we would like to connect directly to your computer by VNC. Let us know if this is possible and I will send you the VNC software by e-mail. You will install the server and we will connect from our computers.

So I do the final, and last action, by Uninstall My Dreamweaver and Remove all my configuration. Then install again, the first Extension I add is this Wonderfull coder pack, And wow... My Problem solved. It running "PERFECT"

After a while I install another extension and still WORK
