Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

Have I missed something?  If MX Coder is to be useful, it really needs to show functions in the INCLUDE files.  Most advanced programmers don't have the functions in their main pages.  At the moment I have to switch to the include file to view the functions.  Surely the most use would be gained if Coder could also show the function in include files? Could it also show the function arguements as well?   :-)

If I have missed something, could you explain how to get access to this?

Barry

Hi Barry,

Great suggestion. Something I have thought about a few times but didn't think it was possible because the code isn't on the page. But if the InterAKT magic guys can do this it would be great!

hi there,

i would defiunitely be great and maybe i'm missing something too but when defining classes the code hints for variables don't work with $this-> ...

would be very cool too that when ctrl+spaced after -> i'd get a dropdown with all the functions and vars defined in the class

YES!!!!
The coder pack has too be able to read the class and function files from the whole project. I was hoping to see that when I got the extension package. It needs to know all functionality of the OO design principals for all of the languages supported. But then, Adobe / Macromedia needs to step up on this also. I program PHP, and am trying not to have to cough up $300 for Zend Studio. For PHP code support Zend Studio is the product to beat. Bu t $300 for Pro is too hard to swallow, with the design aspect lacking severly.

To sum it up, I NEED the offspring of Zend Studio Pro and Dreamweaver MX. Then I would not give a second thought to dishing out $300..

Hi All,

Any news regarding include files?
Are you considering to include them in next release?
If so when can we expect it?

This is greatly mised with this extension. It would improve usability 100 fold...

Tx Daniel

hi all,

so i've been trying to use eclipse for php but i'm back to deramweaver and I am thinking... this Coder extension really needs all the MANDATORY features that will make it useful for coders. When in eclipse you get the whole project to be included in the code hinting and code completion and working with libraries is som much easier this way.

Please give us an update on if thpse features will be present and when. Otherwise I definitely will have to buy another product like Zend Studio.

thanks in advance

ps. any plans on releasing a good php eclipse plugin, like u did with the js one (congrats by the way !)
