Is this possible?

Utilise the calendar as an appointment system with doing the following?

  • Change Day View to 20 minute periods instead of the default 30 minute periods.
  • Have the day starting at 09h00 and finished at 14h00.
  • Have only one entry per period of 20 minutes.
  • Only administrator has the right to delete entries.

 Thanx.

Hello Jannie,

Issues 1 and 3 represent can only be integrated by custom coding. Isuues 2 and 4 can be easily done.

If you care receiving commercial support from us, please contact consulting@interaktonline.com and provide a zip with the pages you built and database script file. Also, give the URL to this forum thread.

In order to set up the starting and ending hours of the day, you just have to go into the second tab of the Calendar View Wizard in DW and set the "Working hours" field.

The 4th issue can be easily built. You need to use MX Login User authentication module in your site. Then, on the event detail form page (NeXTension Form) add a Throw Error trigger bound to teh Delete transaction. The starting condition will be build from the Advanced tab in trigger's interface, in "Condition builder" window - it will be: {SESSION.kt_login_level} != admin_level, where admin_level is teh value of the admin level.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Ionut

Hi Jannie

Just out of interest, did you ever get this resolved. I am currently looking at doing pretty much the same.

Regards
Andrew
