This thread was displayed: 0 times
Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.
For more information about the affected products visit: www.interaktonline.com/Support/

Hello all,
I have upgraded to DW CS3 and have also got the Adobe Developers Toolbox. My question is this. I had made some sites using MX Calendar. I would like to support them using DW CS3. Is there any comparable component to MX Calendar? Can I use MX Calendar with DW CS3 and Dev Toolkit?
Thanks.

Hello Chris,
You cannot edit the MX Calendar server behaviors with Developer Toolbox extension. You can just upgrade your site files, after making a back-up of your current "includes" folder first.

Thanks Ionut,
So at this point there is no substitute for the MX_Calendar for the DW CS3.
I guess I will have to keep DW8 around for maintenance for a while. Do you know if there are any plans to have a similar product available any time soon for CS3?
Hope all is well with you.
Thanks again.
Chris

SO the bottom line is that Adobe is dropping compatibility for extension of comanies it owns. Sounds like they have decided to follow the Microsoft model.

yes, seems so.
I hate companies like adobe doing this. So on the bottom line they first bought macromedia so they have no competition anymore and now they close down interakt with all their really great extensions dicontinuing the most interesting ones...
They are not innovative, they are destructive....
