Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.
For more information about the affected products visit: www.interaktonline.com/Support/

Hello
I need to make the dreaded move to CS3 and one of thekey functions I'll miss is dynamic menus.
Has anyone found an alternative?
regards Clive

Hi Clive
Did you ever find an alternative? I am still looking. I cannot believe that Adobe did not add a dynamic version of there new spry menu bar! I am surprised that there are no third party extensions that can add this capability to this.

... not only can I not find an equivalent, but mine have stopped working. They install via EXT Manager OK, but there's no Interakt tab on the 'insert' panel - or anywhere else!
Anyone else experienced this?

Sadly I have found that the last version of this and other interakt plug-ins can have problems, I usually uninstall the plug in and delete the include folder and then delete the WinFileCache file in #name#\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration. Finally reinstall the extension, this method is long winded but it usually works.
Regarding a replacement, I must admin it has not been easy to find a good replacement that does not require a great deal of modification to work the way I intent it to. The closest i have found is http://www.likno.com/allwebmenusinfo.html which has a dreamweaver extension and a API to link it to a db.
I am still looking and a few other companies say they are looking add the db link feature to there product on the next release the most promising is http://www.extendstudio.com/Samples/Creative_DW_Dropdown_Menu/Interactive_Demo/index.html
Any one else had any better luck?

Unfortunately No.
Allweb menus look s OK and they offer some decent discounts at times.
If you're maintaining DW8 you I believe you cancan create menus and use them with CS3 but you will need to rename the includes folder to something else
