This thread was displayed: 0 times

Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

For more information about the affected products visit: www.interaktonline.com/Support/

Just found out the MX CSS Menu is a goner.....that doesn't make me happy. Does any one know if there is a future for MX CSS Menu through adobe or do I now need to revamp my ENTIRE website because of this and find another way of easily doing drop down navigations? Thanks

Hello,

MX CSS Menu has been discontinued and we don't plan to release a new version in the near future. I am sorry.

Ionut

bummer...i just tried the spry menu in dreamweaver cs3 and it's terrible in my opinion compared to MX CSS. Now I have to change 5 websites...any opinions of a better extention for menus?

That's absolutley outrageous! My company just bought these 'discontinued' extensions at the begining of this month and then 2 weeks later they stop supporting them? Sounds like a big fat lawsuit to me.

Leave to Adobe to ruin yet another great company....

Hi Corey,

The option of buying extensions form our website was removed 30 days before 17 of May (when support was discontinued). I am not sure where your company bought the extensions from, maybe you could provide the purchase order ID by a private post.

Ionut

I understand if adobe doesn't want to release new version of the product but why can't we load the existing version in CS3 and use it as is? This would keep the people happy (like myself) who bought the interakt products. We invested a lot of money into your products and it just feels shitty. It doesn't make sense why these products cant work in CS3 (unless of course Adobe doesen't want them to).

John,

Why would you want to install an extension that will not work in DW CS3? Those extensions are not compatible with DW CS3 and this is why they don't install.

Ionut

This is very disappointing. All of us who've created sites using MX CSS Menu now have to change our menus if you've upgraded to CS3. Which of course I have. Shame on you ADOBE...I've always been a huge fan of yours. Now I have to continue to run Dreamweaver 8 to accomodate my menus (until I have time to learn spry in CS3, which I find difficult to customize)
