Hello,

Unfortunately, MXKollection 3.6.0 contained a problem when generating a Nextensio List from a recordset. The code was generated like this:

 <!--#include @@urlformat@@="includes/tfi/TFI.asp" -->

We managed to create a patch that fixes this problem. You can download it from here.

Installation steps:

  • you need a file unarchiver utility which can handle zip files.
  • copy the patchDW_3_6_0.zip file somewhere on you hard drive.
  • close Dreamweaver.
  • go to the Configuration folder (this is a hidden folder), located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_name\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration (if using Windows)

or

Macintosh HD:Users:MAC_User:Library:Application Support:Macromedia:Dreamweaver 8:Configuration (if using MAC)

  • extract all the files from this zip inside the Configuration folder, keeping the directory structure.

The next product release will include this patch too.

Regards,
Florin CARLIG

Hello Florin CARLIG,

Ionut MOICIANU directed me to your solution. When I was uploading I constantly faced a parse error caused by de code line " @@URLFormat@@ ". I took Ionut's advice and changed the lines to: <?php require_once('../Connections/connJobs.php'); ?>, but now I don't see the data in my pages.

Before I am going to follow your suggestion I want to know if the solution of the patch solves the problem for PHP/MySQL. I have DW8 and the update installed.

Thank you in advance,

Brian

I downloaded the ZIP file, shut down DW8, copied the relevant files into the corresponding folders within my existing configuration folders, and restarted DW.

However, when using the table wizard, the code was still being generated as:

<!--#include @@urlformat@@="includes/tfi/TFI.asp" -->

Do you know why this is still happening, how it can be solved, or what we should manually change the code to?

Hello,

No. The Application data is a hidden folder. You have to enable viewing of hidden files to see it.

<!--#include @@urlformat@@= is my problem. Installed MX Breadcrumbs then started seeing this included in my files. Then tried to find the patch on the website which isn't there. Removed MC Breadcrumbs and the situation hasn't changed. Any help on where this patch is located on the Adobe/Interakt website
