MX Kollection Forum :: Will Kol 3.7.1 Pro work with cs3 or 4?

Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

I'm finally going to upgrade a machine to either CS3 or 4, and I know Kollection has been replaced with ADDT (which i guess has also been discontinued). But will Kollection actually install with any of the CS Products and function? How close is it to ADDT, since I've never used that? And last, are there any other products that come close to providing what Kollection did? Thanks for any new information regarding the above, since I've been sticking with DW8 and Kollection for a while, but need to upgrade and want a similar product for rapid development. Thanks, Doug

You will not be able to use MX Kollection anymore - I think it doesn't even install! ADDT's last release (1.0.1) made it compatible with CS4, but you are right, it was discontinued last year! IMO you should give up on MX Kollection/ADDT and look either for other extensions or switch to publishing platforms like Wordpress or Joomla. I suggest to seek advice on ADDT's forums and on http://www.interaktonline.info.
As to how close is ADDT to Kollection, in a few words it's Kollection PRO without KTML and Menus - see http://www.interaktonline.com/Products/.
