This thread was displayed: 0 times
Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.
For more information about the affected products visit: www.interaktonline.com/Support/

I have moved to Windows Vista and I am having some problems installing the Interakt extensions on MX2004. Some of them give me a message saying "the file ...\Dreamweaver MX 2004\Help\MX_Calendar.chm [or whatever] is being used by Dreamweaver, please close Dreamweaver and try again". Yet when I look in the help files, the .chm file in question does not exist.
Any ideas?

I had the same problem when trying to install with Dreamweaver8 on Windows 7 Pro (64 bit).
I have found a work-around; Install Dreamweaver 8 and then right-click the Dreamweaver program and set it to run in compatibility mode (XP) and do the same for the Extension Manager. The extensions all then installed successfully (but not the help file extensions which still had the same problem).
At least I can still use my extensions now :-)
Hope this helps someone.
Neil
