Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

Hello,

I would like to make some comments over the available upgrade programs statistics, problems and solutions.

The program has been started last week and it included several thousands Kollection customers.

Until today, 50% percent of the these customers have created an account on the prerelease website. In addition, 80% of the registered accounts have been activated and customers have access to the product package and serial number.

In terms of program issues, we had so far up to 50 reported problems and we have identified three main types:

  1. Customer have not received the invitation email
  2. After registering, customers experienced some delays in getting the Welcome email and having the account activation
  3. Customers don't know exactly which upgrade is addressed to them and when it will me made available

Any customers that is experiencing the first two types of problems should write an email to contact@interaktonline.com and explain in which scenario he or she is in. Please consider that, besides the cases where the mail server returned an error, we are not aware that you have not received the email, unless you signal this problem to us. Usually, we can help you complete the process within the next couple of days.

The third problem is related to the confusion created around product naming, and this has been started by InterAKT before the acquisition. Added to that is that fact that we have two separate upgrade programs, which makes it more complicated.

Therefore, I will list the upgrade programs that are or will be made available, list the differences and the users that are eligible for these programs.

Upgrade programs:

  1. Kollection Upgrade Program
    1. Offers a complimentary upgrade to Adobe Dreamweaver Developer Toolbox to all Kollection Customers
    2. Is fulfilled through the Adobe Prerelease system
    3. The invitation emails have been send on 4/17
  3. MX Kollection and MX Kollection Pro Upgrade Program
    1. Offers around 50% discount on the Adobe Dreamweaver Developer Toolbox price for all MX Kollection and MX Kollection Pro owners;
    2. Is fulfilled through a set of discount coupons that will be sent by email in the month following the product release in each region
    3. Please note that these emails are not sent in the same time with the ones sent for Kollection bundle customers, which will be sent first
