Hello,
You don't need to uninstall anything, you can just install Dreamweaver CS3 and then install Developer Toolbox extension from CS3 Extension Manager.
You will open the old sites in DW CS3 (except for the ones built with PHP_ADODB server model, which cannot be updated) and update the "includes" folder from Control Panel->"Update includes folder".
If you have used in your sites some older extensions that are not part of the Developer Toolbox (as modules), you will receive an warning - you should back-up the existing "includes" folder first, then perform the update. This is because the discontinued extensions have not been fully tested with Developer Toolbox, so you you need to be backed up for any possible compatibility problems. Sites made exclusively with MX Kollection should have no compatibility problems. The existing server behaviors applied through site pages should get recognized fine.
You may also check the FAQ section from Developer Toolbox website page.
Regards,
Ionut

Hi Ionut,
Sorry maybe a silly question....and you must get tired of hearing and answering the same questions so I wanted to post this to clarify for all.
We can only install the new Adobe® Dreamweaver® Developer Toolbox on Dreamweaver® CS3 and not on Dreamweaver® 8.0x?
If so we must upgrade to Dreamweaver CS3® to run the new developer tool box if we are using Dreamweaver® x.xx ?
And we can upgrade to Dreamweaver CS3 here for $199.00 USD?
Will we have to pay for the new Adobe® Dreamweaver® Developer Toolbox also a further $299.00 after the trial period which ends on the 6/16/2007?
Many Thanks

Web Guy,
Everything is correct, except for the Developer Toolbox price - the upgrade is free for the Kollection bundle owners ;)

And if you never used PHP_ADODB to build tons of sites.

Do you know if the e-mail with the upgrade pricing for Toolbox has been sent out? Adobe says that the only way to receive the upgrade price is to follow the instructions sent out on the e-mail, however I haven't received the e-mail and I own MX Kollection. If the e-mail was already sent out, is there a way to have another one sent? Adobe says they are unable to do it, so I was hoping that someone from Interakt may be able to help.
Thank you.

Thanks Ionut. I was concerned because I'm in North America (US) and it sounded like customers already received their e-mail. I appreciate your help.
