Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. It's the same problem everyone else in this post is having w/ the javascript errors.  I have spent over 1k on extensions, in the past year, and have the latest updates of everything.  You would think the released versions would work.  I have been troubleshooting this the past four days.  Everyone else that has the same problem doesn't seem to get it resolved.  They have all tried the fixes in the posts but still unresolved.  Is there not a patch released for this?  I have even tried reinstalling dw 8 and the extensions.  Uninstalled and reinstalled the extensions and so on and so on.

I am also very concerned about the sale to Adobe.  Their support will not know what anyone is talking about with the extensions.  They are geared towards graphics.  Hopefully, they will not turn DW and your extensions into fluff programming for overzealous graphic artists...  After nightmares and dreams of being chased by javascript errors; the past few nights, I now have a headache.  Would you please have your guys fix this?

Most of the guys trying the possible fixes given here have successfuly gotten rid of the problem (Joe said in a post above he did not tried to rename the "Configuration" folder, which you should try too, if not done it yet).

As I asked you, please attach the screenshot with the Extension Manager window here (if you don't want to start a new thread on this) and tell me what is the exact version of your Dreamweaver.

I can't predict what the future may bring, but as concerning our team, we will still try to offer you guys quality support for at least 6 months.

Ionut

I am using DW 8.02 and here is the one extension I installed after deleting all others and renaming the config and deleting the wincachefile.  I am still getting the javascript error when trying to insert form and so on.

While waiting for a response, I have deleted and reinstalled DW8 with the patch to DW8.02 and reinstalled the latest kollection extension...UPDATE still does not work!  Come on guys, I know you are busy but this has been eating at me for five days now.  Your products have always been so good and the fixes have always worked in the past.  What could be going on now?

Hello,

You are saying:

I am using DW 8.02 and here is the one extension I installed after deleting all others and renaming the config and deleting the wincachefile.  I am still getting the javascript error when trying to insert form and so on.

But in your attached screenshot form Extension Manager, I see you have two other extensions installed (even if disabled), this meaning the configuration folder hasn't been completely removed.

So, please bear with me one more time and please follow this exact steps:

- close Dreamweaver
- delete the "Configuration" folder from this exact hidden location:

        - "c:\Documents and Settings\XP_user\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration"

- delete all files from:
         "c:\Program Files\Macromedia\Extension Manager\Configuration\Extensions"

- install MX Kollection 3.7.1 only

- start Dreamweaver and make some tests on a new blank page, then test on the page you said you had the problem on, too.

If you still have any problem, please let me know and if the problem only occurs on one page, please attach it here (use the "attach file" option).

If the problem occurs on any page, please make a zip of the "Configuration" folder from the exact location specified above and send it to support@interaktonline.com (you can directly reply to the notification message from this forum thread) or put the zip somewhere for download.

I hope we will solve the problem very soon.

Ionut

The error still comes up on the site I am working on but not on another.  That still does not solve my problem as I need it to work on the site I am developing.
